It happened around 2:20 a.m. at the 6470 Torresdale Avenue location, city police told Daily Voice.
The two armed robbers entered the restaurant through the back door while an employee was on break, investigators said. They forced a worker to open a door using a passcode and then made the store manager open the safe in the backroom, authorities said.
The pair took about $2,500 cash and fled on Torresdale Avenue on foot, police added.
The robbery remains under investigation by PPD.
